On the wind from Myojin
This is a column of occasional articles by Rimiko Yoshinaga, president of For ・By ・With Minamata, in which she sets down recollections of the experience of being born and raised in Myojin, Minamata, and the devastating impact of Minamata disease. Her thoughts and memories provide clues to how to approach a range of problems concerning both Minamata disease and contemporary society that remain unresolved.
Here are some of the voices of those who took part in study meetings held by For・By・With Minamata. We would like to use the term ‘Myojin mon’ to include anyone who has ever been involved in even just one of our meetings.
